For football fans out there, did you know the NFL have just recently agreed to air football on Thursday nights? Now there are Thursday Night football, Monday Night football and also our usual Sunday football programs. Last night (19 November 2010)'s Thursday Night football features the Miami Dolphin and the Chicago Bears.
Chicago Bears were so efficient last night that they hold Miami to only their second home shutout in fourty years. To add salt to wound, the Bears defense allowed only 187 yards and a single third-down conversion Thursday night when they went on to beat the Dolphines 16-0.
Miami's top WR Brendon Marshall drew an early flag for taunting former Denver teammate Jay Cutler. This results in a 15 yard penalty and the starting of what would be a long night for Miami.
The injury hit Miami team started their third string quaterback Tyler Tigpen who was eventually sacked six times. Miami were never looked to beat the Chicago defense who improved to the best defense in the NFL with the least points allowed in a single game.
