Thunder takes on Celtics without Durant
Oklahoma City Thunder is now facing the Boston Celtics in Boston TD Garden at 7pm EST. However they need to beat the 2008 NBA Champions without their star player and also the league reigning top scorer Kevin Durant.
Kevin Durant twisted his left ankle in Thunder's 116-99 win over the Houston Rocket. The no2 overall pick of 2007 and 2008 rookie of the year now leads the league in scoring with 28.0 points per game.
Celtics fans, do not be happy just yet. Durant might be their star player but do not write off Russell Westbrook. Only three players this season are averaging 20points 5 boards and 5 assist.
They are:
Kobe Bryant (26.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists |
LeBron James (22.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.9 assists) |
This is surely going to be a very interesting game.
